Noticing God's Kingdom (Children's chapel)

Can we drive a vehicle without breaks? we would certainly run into an imminent disaster if we do! It is for sure not possible to drive the vehicle without gas. We need good breaks and also we need gas to run the vehicle.

Holy Scripture tells us that those who have come to know Jesus Christ, have a special connection with God our Father in Heaven. We can function in God's Kingdom because we are aware of this Kingdom even if we can't see it with our natural eyes. We are like the vehicle that has all that it needs to run.

In this Kingdom of the earth, it is true that vehicles will run on gas but in God's Kingdom, things are really different. Even though we can't see this Kingdom of God with our eyes, we can feel it when we love each other like Jesus loved us. We can feel it when we love God more because we know God loved us first. We can run and function in this Kingdom.

The Bible tells us that those who are in God's Kingdom act in a way that is appropriate in God's eyes, but those who don't know this invisible Kingdom of God, have a hard time discovering it because their actions and behaviors do not agree with the values and principles of God's invisible Kingdom. For example: We shouldn't lie, We should always tell the truth. Those who lie have a harder time discovering the Kingdom of God. Also, we shouldn't disobey our parents, we should always listen to them and obey them. When we know that we have messed up and did what is not good in God's eyes and our parent's eyes, we should be quick to recognize our mistake and ask for forgiveness, and also take a decision not to do that again.

The invisible Kingdom is real even though many people don't recognize it. The way to be in this Kingdom is to begin a relationship with Jesus, to ask Him to open our eyes and our minds to see the realities of God's invisible Kingdom: Love, Hope, Peace, Patience...
